Basic knowledge of organic fertilizer granulation equipment Disc granulator

The operation of a pan granulator in a fertilizer production line is generally considered a technique that goes beyond raw material viscosity and incorporates many mechanical and process variables to achieve desired granulation characteristics. The variables that must be considered during operation of the pan granulator are outlined below:
1. Mechanical variables:
Translation angle, translation speed, nozzles (including nozzle number, location, type, etc.)
2. Process variables:
Raw material properties (fine/coarse; sticky/nonstick), dry-to-wet ratio, adhesive type, desired size of finished product, raw material moisture, feed rate, adhesive rate, etc.
