JW Filshill creates AI bot for vape ban advice for c-store retailers
Following the successful publication of its comprehensive guide for KeyStore retailers outlining what businesses need to know and how to prepare for the UK-wide ban on single-use vapes on 1 June 2025, Glasgow-based wholesaler JW Filshill is now making the information available to all retailers using an AI programme. In recent weeks, Filshill has issued the guide – compiled by Derek Cowan, its category manager responsible for the tobacco and vape categories – to its customers in PDF format. The wholesaler’s business development managers have also been working closely with KeyStore retailers to advise them on how to prepare for the forthcoming legislation’s implementation.
Filshill’s chief executive officer Simon Hannah – a qualified AI trainer – is leading his company’s drive to help customers and suppliers leverage AI for mutual benefit across data analysis and business processes as part of the company’s co-prosperity strategic approach.
